Why koralli?
I joined koralli with the intention of making a meaningful impact through my work. In a market saturated with uninspired consultancies, reforming the status quo necessitates a fresh start filled with people who want to create change.
Additionally, in an era where technology drives our lives, I believe a company’s success is determined by its ability and willingness to adopt new technologies in house, including the use of AI and machine learning. koralli isn’t afraid to experiment, enabling me to challenge myself daily and efficiently seek out the most effective solutions.
My Skills
Through undertaking various roles during my time at Oxford I have developed the skills of leadership, data analytics, adaptability and strategic thinking. Leading several projects at the Oxford Strategy Group, an Oxford based student consultancy, and serving as the Trinity College JCR President allowed me to foster the strong communication, problem solving and team work skills necessary for a strong leader.
Consulting has also allowed me to cultivate rigorous research, data analysis and presentation skills, which I have been able to finetune through my work in the lab. These roles have required me to work with interdisciplinary teams of people from a range of backgrounds, allowing me to work on my communication and flexibility in a team setting.
Additionally, through my degree I have become familiar with various programming languages, such as R and python. I am also fluent in Russian and Hungarian, as well as learning Mandarin.
My Expertise
As a biochemistry student at the University of Oxford, I've developed in depth knowledge of the biochemical and biotechnology landscape, enabling me to offer informed insights into scientific and technical challenges. My interests lie in therapeutics such as anti-viral therapeutics and cancer vaccines. I will be completing my masters project in viral glycoprotein characterisation and have interned with a pharmaceutical research and development company working with cyclodextrins.
My Experience
Having worked for the Oxford Strategy Group, serving as a consultant, project leader and the Director of Outreach has given me firsthand experience with consulting and project management. Throughout my time there, I consulted on market entry, market expansion, as well as competitor landscaping for clients ranging from biotech startups to multibillion dollar engineering companies. One of these projects was in the AI startup space, where I led two teams working on customer acquisition and capital procurement strategies to develop financial forecasting model and run beta testing for a client’s AI product.
