Why koralli?
Joining koralli is an exciting prospect offering a unique opportunity to apply my academic skills in a real-world context, bridging the gap between theory and practical impact. I am particularly looking forward to the chance of solving problems that will have tangible consequences, moving beyond those which are only an intellectual curiosity.
Additionally I am enthusiastic about collaborating with a diverse team, bringing a wealth of perspectives to enrich our problem-solving approach. Furthermore, I hope that koralli's innovative consulting model will be able to better align with the evolving needs of clients, creating a more dynamic and responsive experience from which everyone is able to learn something.
My Skills
Proficient in data analysis, I am able to extract insights crucial for decision-making – with meticulous attention to detail to ensure I am discover the true relationships between factors.
Additionally my strong organisational skills honed as a member of student groups. Whether serving as the logistics and health and safety officer for our college ball or guiding a team of invest ingate the international mobility of Canadian graduate students, I have had success at driving projects to completion.
My Expertise
As a PhD candidate in experimental quantum photonics I have deep expertise in mathematics and understanding abstract concepts. With this strong scientific background, combined with more technical skills in areas of coding and hardware, I am able to engage to understand the latest technological advancements, .
I am also involved in policy conversations, particularly with regards to science and innovation policy as president of the Ottawa Science Policy Network, and hence have an awareness of how government functions and policy is made.
My Experience
I have served in a number of student organization committees – Secretary and Police Liason Officer for the Oxford University Pistol Club, co-founding the Oxford Quantum Information Society, the Ottawa Science Policy Network and Support Our Science (a grassroots organization advocating for next-genration researchers in Canada).
I have also been involved in teaching complex concepts to students of a range of ages, both as a Teaching Assistant at the university level and as a volunteer with Penny Drops to teach high school students financial literacy.
